Pat keeps doing little, amazing, stuff

Pat had chemo on Friday, afterwards Physical Therapy and I walk her about 400ft, I held her, they followed with a wheel chair. I had the biggest smile on my face.

Today , Mom and Dad walked in and found her scribbling on a napkin, but it was writing, not scribbling. Dad ran out to Walmart and bought a notepad and pen for her. I wasn’t there, but what ensued is evidenced below.

Although, not readable, working on words, and writing in her handwriting …

  1. HOLY MOLY!! That’s AWESOME!!!!! GREAT news!!! She seemed much brighter the other day we were there as well! Reading the paper..studying it intensely…~ Great to hear about her walking as well!!!

  2. So pleased that you took Pat for a drive and that she saw the dogs. I asked her if she had seen them a few days earlier and she shook her head sadly. That was so thoughtful of you, Scott. Once again, I have contracted a cold but will visit again when it is over. Love and hope! Etta and Arthur

  3. When I visited today, she was reading a magazine. I got her pen from a drawer and she wrote down “Colin” when I looked at the page she was on in magazine it was a picture of Colin Powell and his name written across it. I was stunned, so I pointed at the picture and said, “that guy?”. She promptly wrote down, “That guy”

    Good day…
