Merry Christmas (or happy holidays)

Yes, today is December 25th.

I picked up Pat from the facility, and the short 5 mile journey to Mom and Dad’s place (actually around the corner from ours). We had an excellent dinner,  all cooked by Mom and Dad. Prior to the dinner I went back to our house, picked up our pups, and brought them over (Sammy and Chuy). So all in our little  family was there.

Jamie and Carol, who live close by, showed up, for a brief visit adding to todays event. I should also mention that Paul and Penny visited Pat and at the facility on Monday. Everything is good, Pat is surrounded by friends and family.

When I returned Pat to the facility, she was obviously very tired,  this being a big day and a strain on her, she is fine, but we may want to take it a little easier on her in the future. She has come a long way.

Everyone, please have a great holiday.

Thanks for your support,

Scott

  1. That is so exciting and the most wonderful news we have had Ina while. We had the Diabetes Center XMAS party last week and I reminded everyone just how hard 2012 was for us in the Meuroendocrine unit and all we could hope for was a brighter 2013. At least this bit of goodnews is a good start. Our love to you all, Etsie and Arthur.

  2. That’s great news. She has come a long way! What was the dogs’ first response to her presence and hers to their presence?

  3. So great that you could all be together for Christmas! Hope it was a positive experience for Pat and you. We miss the pups but are happy that they’re home where they’re needed. 🙂 Merry Christmas!

  4. We are so happy to hear that Pat is doing so well! Please put us on the list for visiting, we miss her so much!

  5. Hey guys! Happy New Year to you both and your folks Scott! Susan and (now I) are both still dealing with Holiday colds so I am sure a visit with Pat will still be on hold. We will let you know when we are both well and ready for a little visit! Please give Pat our love and let her know we want to see her asap!!! Take care!! Love you guys!
