I arrived Friday. Pat continues to improve in very small steps.
Still not very verbal, but you can say something and understand the facial response. Still on the horizon is the ability to feed herself and walk (and some other things).
Today, Sunday, after I took her for a long wheel chair ride , ice cream, coffee (in the facility). I managed to get her to walk from the chair to the bed. Of course hanging on to me , and I guiding her steps. It is a slow process, but it ended with me asking for a hug and getting a really good squeeze from her. That made my day 🙂
Thanks for all your support,
Scott
Wonderful news… hope you see even more improvement next weekend. Give Pat our best.
Such good news. Wishing additional small steps. On a personal note, we are “bridging” over to hospice for Gary. 🙁
I am really sorry to hear. I am back in town, please call me , or I will call you.

I’m thinking of you both – hope Pat continues to get better. It was so nice to meet you guys last October. Take care and say hi from Jack and I.

So glad to hear that Pat is getting a little better with each week’s passing. Such a calm beautiful peaceful person. I wish I had known she was facing this the last time I saw her at our meet and greet. Wishing you and Pat strength and sending good thoughts for continued progress and a better menu with no saurkraut : )
Such good news! Please give Pat a hug from us. Sarah and Jason are close to selecting a wedding date. Let us know when we can come down to give Pat a hug in person.
Love, Bill and Marilyn
